Filicudi 1517 is a house, the result of a building renovation of an existing structure. The lot is characterized by its panoramic position immediately above the town of Marina di Ragusa. The design of this house sought a relationship with the context and its panoramic view, with a holistic attitude that puts the well-being of its inhabitants first. Living in this house means enjoying the sun, the magnificent sea view, and its equipped internal and external spaces. On its terrace on the top floor but also in the garden on the ground floor, inviting friends, enjoying a suitable environment, is a possibility that this house particularly enhances. A heated swimming pool is available all year round, designed to facilitate long, relaxing swims. The image of the house refers to a creative and dynamic use of elements of the Mediterranean tradition, reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The alternating semi-arches create a dynamic play of chiaroscuro, which gives the façades a particular identity.
